Community & Business Development Specialist

Maria Mendoza-Has been with HEDC for over 4 years as the Community Business Development Specialist. Maria is a graduate of New Mexico State University where she earned a BA in International Business and minor in Finance. Attending full time accreditation, she was also applying her knowledge at Dona Ana Community College where she taught GED, citizenship and Literacy to the predominant Hispanic community in Southwest New Mexico. Since joining HEDC Maria has assisted in our Digital Literacy classes, Business Development program, Hablemos Business, QuickBooks, Assist with Grant Writing and is now assist with HEDC’s Impacto Fund. She is applying her financial experience and banking experience assisting customers bridge the financial gap to launch their new business.
In her spare time, she enjoys running.
